Abstract

In this scientific article, the issues of foreign labor migration in Uzbekistan during 1997-2019 are studied from the point of view of historiography. By studying the processes of external labor migration, scientific conclusions are formed about the socio-economic situation of the country, the demographic situation and the state of social processes such as gender equality. In this scientific article, the trends of the historical development of labor resources and external labor migration, which arose as a result of the formation of the labor market, are shown on the example of Khorezm region, which is the northern region of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
